By using SplitDue you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
SplitDue records shared expenses and repayments. It doesn't hold money, send or receive payments, verify that payments happened, or collect debts.
Balances, suggestions and summaries are calculated from what you and your group enter. Check amounts and agree balances with the people involved.
Pay With only opens another app, such as Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle or your bank, with details filled in where that app allows. You review and confirm any payment in that app. SplitDue isn't affiliated with those services and isn't responsible for their payments, fees, limits, errors or availability.
- Only invite people you know and who agree to be in the group.
- Don't use comments, requests or reminders to harass anyone.
- Owners and admins decide who can do what in their groups.
- You're responsible for what you add, including files you attach.
Everything you enter belongs to you. Keep backups of records that matter to you; SplitDue can't recover data the developer never holds.
- Use SplitDue on Apple devices you own or control.
- Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app.
- Don't misuse iCloud sharing, notifications or the extensions.
SplitDue Pro is optional. It's sold as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Apple.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro stays until the period ends.
- Splitting, settling and sharing never require Pro.
Tips are optional one-time purchases processed by Apple. They don't unlock features and are final, except where Apple's refund policy or the law says otherwise.
SplitDue is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The developer isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disagreements about money between users. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
These terms may be updated; the new version will appear here with a new effective date. Continuing to use SplitDue after a change means you accept it.
