PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION
ReFormatly is designed to keep your files private.
Files are processed on-device whenever possible. ReFormatly does not run ads, does not sell your data, and does not use third-party tracking.
Data stored locally on your device may include app preferences, theme settings, conversion defaults, presets, recent tool/output history, temporary working files, generated outputs, optional secure vault files, and optional AI provider settings stored securely in Keychain.
Network access is used only for specific user-facing features, including App Store purchases, optional iCloud sync, optional AI features, and support actions.
When iCloud sync is enabled, ReFormatly may sync preferences and lightweight history metadata through the user’s iCloud account. File processing remains local unless the user explicitly uses a feature that sends content elsewhere.
When optional AI features are enabled, selected text, document content, or metadata may be sent to the AI provider chosen by the user. Users can choose providers, disable AI features, or use a local model server where supported.
